in the cut

The film, which trips over the importance of your self, and suffering from a cut killer more than the mistakes a drama in murder: killer, revealed at once, has no motivation, backstory No, no chance, and not carry out any killings, but to satisfy the end the cheap. The real surprise is that director Jane Campion, who was involved in writing the script, and Nicole Kidman, who produced, both should have known better. Comet script the other is Susanna Moore, who may not know any better, but at least deserves the blame, because as much as the film is based on her novel.
In reducing the frequency of moves that will come in third in the race in a row with solid tortoise and a snail. Campion waste every scene with unnecessary footage decorative beauty to the point of distraction crazy. It's kind of directorial excess that scream "Look at my guide intelligent!" , Because really, for long periods, something else is going on, and felt compelled to extend the procedures to Campion numbing two hours.
Frannie (Meg Ryan) is a schoolteacher living alone, and is best friends with her sister Pauline (Jennifer Jason Lee). Meg recently broke out with the creepy John (Kevin Bacon), although he continues to have a leg awkwardly. In a bar one night, witnesses Franny conservatively with a distinctive tattoo of a man receiving a blow job from a woman with a distinctive finger nails.
And brutally killed her and chopped up, and are unloaded one of the parts of her body near a flat in Frannie. Detective Malloy (Mark Ruffalo) shows the investigation, and soon attracted Frannie. They end up a warm relationship: one problem is that Malawi and the distinctive tattoos.
Meg Ryan cuts loose, drops a good girl image, and indulges her wild side with the role of sexual desire, very driven, and her performance carries the best moments of the film together, barely. Frannie the word enough, torn between passion and desire companionship, and fear of the stranger, the danger that may lie behind the motives and Malawi.
But beyond that, in the cut has little to recommend it: Detective work is dirty and bizarre behaviors and crafts, and secondary characters to be forgotten, and the bad actor, once revealed, is empty. Should have just cut the pieces.
